One Way Ticket

The transportation of our bodies from Boston to Sao Jorge in the Azores was tiring but uneventful. The host and owner of Marficas Hostel, Tania Acevedo was most pleasant and helpful. The hostel is itself beautiful, clean well equipped and has a stunning view of pico Mountain. Seeing Mount pico Summit above the cloud bank as the plane descended to its destination was a familiar and heartwarming experience as we had spent time on that island in February.

We ate our first meal on the Hostel patio, which gave us a sunset view of Mount pico.
